I spent the last week helping to spruce up a neat little breakfast and lunch café in Apache Junction.  Nice and close to home, which I loved! 🙂

The owners wanted a Route 66 mural to go with their theme throughout the restaurant.  I came up a design which included a few different formations from Monument valley as well as the highway winding though it, an old gas station, a 61 Corvette and an old Chevy truck.  I had a lot of fun with this mural!

I started work at 2 pm after they closed and worked until about 9pm.  On my second day one of the owners informed me the restaurant was haunted by a man who use to own it, BUT he was a nice ghost (LOL!)  Nice or not I was a little freaked out!  I spent the next several days jumping every time the ice maker dropped ice and had to keep looking over my shoulder!  Fortunately Melvin, I think that was his name, never came around!  Thank God!

So enjoy the before and after images and if you have a business, murals are definitely a way to give your establishment that extra something that your competition doesn’t have!  The owners were so thrilled with the end result and informed me the did not expect it to turn out so amazing!  Always so nice to get positive feedback!  Customers were loving it too!
